    These are photos from our Annual Fun Run. Students collected sponsorship money and then participated in a run around Beach Haven. Parents, preschoolers, grandparents and past students all lined up to join in the fun. It was a fantastic evening. Staff and students dressed up and everyone had a great time.

    The idea of the learning celebration is to give our children the opporuntity to present their learning to people that are interested or in some way affected by the new learning.

    The middle syndicate spent some time last term learning about the Pacific Islands, their cultures and customs, the geography and all sorts of things about the Pacific.

    It was decided to make our learning celebration part of our Fono for our Pacific Island parents. This was held last Thursday and was a most wonderful day where we shared with parents how well their children are doing as well as watch the children show off their leanring. We had song, dances, beautiful Pasifika Art, a fashion parade, a learning journey and a delicious feast. Thanks to everyone who helped out and attended.

    On Thursday 7th July we held our second Science Day of the year. Across the school students were participating in a wide variety of exciting hands-on experiments from creating fake wounds making chocolate, sherbet, burgers, butter and experimenting with rocks, to creatin candle pictures.
