Duffy Books in Homes

 We are very fortunate to have the support of the Lions Club and Dufy books. Every term children are gifted 1 or 2 books to take home and keep. In addition to this, children who have been caught being good in reading can win an extra book at our weekly assemblies. Music Lessons at Beachhaven School In 2011

The Music Education Centre is very proud to offer Beachhaven School students the opportunity to benefit from specialist musical instruction on piano/keyboard; guitar and violin at school during school hours.  Music lessons provide children with a number of educational benefits.  You have the opportunity to give this gift for life to your child.

Birkdale North Music Centre

Birkdale North Music Centre is where children can have fun with music, and take part in inexpensive classes held on Saturday Mornings. 

After School Care

Beach Haven Primary School operates an Oscar approved After School Care Programme.  This programme operates from the hall daily 3pm - 6pm.

Rates are:

3pm - 4pm     $4 per day

3pm - 6pm   $12 per day

Full week $60 (3pm - 6pm)

These rates include afternoon tea daily.

The programme is WINZ Subsidy approved to find out if you qualify for a subsidy please call Work and Income on 0800 599 009.

Hall Hire

At Beach Haven we are fortunate to have a large hall with kitchen facilities.

The hall at Beach Haven is available for hire. 

Hall Facilities:

- Kitchen with oven, microwave, zip hot water heater and limited utensils for use by negotiation.

- Toilets, including disabled facilities and shower facilities for emergencies.

- Maximum number of people allowed in the hall is 470.

- Seating is available for 270

 

Board of Trustees

 We are privileged to have an active and supportive Board of trustees. The Board meets several times each term. Parents are invited to attend the meetings. If you are considering attending please let our Chairperson know.
