An opportunity exists to join our team as part of the Auckland BT Programme starting in for 2-year fixed term position to begin at the start of 2018.
The selected teacher will work in a junior class ‘shadowing’ an expert teacher for up to 6 months before starting their own class. This relationship will have a strong mentoring/tuakana teina element. To be eligible you must a new graduate, NZ citizen and are prepared to commit to two years with us along with participating in the project evaluation.

1 x Scale A Fixed Term Reception Teacher
Due to extensive role growth we are seeking an experienced child focused NE/Reception teacher who would like to work in a supportive and innovative environment. This position is to start in January 2018 and will suit someone who is flexible and adaptable to both the classroom environment and students. We are ideally seeking someone with knowledge of Te Whariki and NZC along with a passion for play based learning with the ability to think out of the box. The role could be part-time initially, as this is a specialist position so we are looking for the right person and therefore are prepared to offer a degree of flexibility to acquire them. This position is not suitable for a Beginning Teacher however may be suited to an experience ECE practitioner looking to work within the Primary environment.
